I came by this park while attending a friend's birthday party, and
considering the size of this park, I was surprised when I found
there were no caches here. Also, I found out that she was really
into geocaching but hadn't really had a chance to get started. What
better way to celebrate her birthday, than take her out to hide a
cache and put her name on it?
This park has stuff for little kids to play on, and it has huge
open fields for soccer and baseball. There are restrooms and on
warm days, roving ice cream carts. Now it has a cache!
There weren't a lot of hiding places, so it's a pretty small
cache. The container is a small baby food jar
small spice container with enough room for a log sheet, and a
couple small trade items. Make sure you bring a pen! This park can
also be very busy at times, and the cache is in a fairly visible
location, so either plan on coming by at off hours or some stealth
will be required.
