alanfreed: Well, I'm sorry to say that I'm going to put this one to rest. It has had a good 5-year run, and I think it has kinda run its course. Over these years, it seems like there's almost always at least one of the stages that winds up missing, even though they're hidden in places that would seem to be pretty muggle-proof.

Archiving this one will also free up a bit of space that can be used for other caches. This one kinda hogs up a lot of space in the park, given the rule that says that caches can't be placed within 1/10th of a mile of any stage of a cache. I have a couple ideas for new caches I hope to put into place in this area, perhaps in the next few weeks. One of those ideas will be rather challenging, and a bit evil. Mu-ha-ha-ha-ha.

Anyway, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who tackled this one over the years, and to those who said they enjoyed the walk down memory lane. My apologies to pinksweatshirt for archiving this, meaning that she won't have the opportunity to grab a smiley on it.

In the coming days, I'll retrieve whatever other stages may still exist... as well as getting the TB out of the final stage and moving it on.

Geocache Description:

It's like, gag me with a multi! It's a totally tubular cache that will test your musical knowledge of the 80s!

Ever wish you could go caching while reminiscing about your favorite 80s tunes? Haven't we all! (Um, ok... *I* have wished for such a thing, anyway!)

Well, now is your chance to test your musical knowledge of my favorite decade. All stages of this adventure will lead you around Old Economy Park in Beaver County. At no point will you need to venture out of the park!

Begin by parking at the coordinates posted at the top of the page.

To get to each stage of the cache, you'll have to answer a musical question related to the 1980s. As a result, this cache may take you as little as an hour, or as long as a decade, depending on your knowledge of 80s music (or your ability to call someone who can do some Googling for you...)!

Plan to walk a little over a mile to get to the final cache site. The final cache is a fairly large, clear container with a blue lid; the other stages are watertight match containers.

Please be sure to tightly close each hint container and hide them exactly as you found them!. At one time or another, I have had to replace ALL of the stages, most of them multiple times!

All stages of the adventure are within relatively easy reach of established paths. There's very little bushwhacking to be done on this one.

To get to the first stage, we'll start easy. Take Prince's popular millennium-oriented hit, and subtract 1,312 to come up with numbers UVW; and take the number of "Luft Balloons" in Nena's 80s hit plus
67 for XYZ. The first stage is located at:
