Palo Verde Treasures Multi-Cache
Team Pantanoman & Better Half & the Pup: This cache is being archived. The city has come through and cleaned the area and trimmed the trees exposing the cache. It has turned up missing all together. Since it is a kids high traffic area we think it would be best just to archive this cache instead of replacing it. Congrats to those who have found it and our appologizes to those who would have liked to find it.

This cache is a multi-staged cache located is a very popular central Tucson park. The first and second stage will give the information required to determine the coordinates to the next stage. The third or final stage is a regular cache loaded with goodies.
The first stage of this cache is located at the coordinates given. For the second and third stages there are four steps to follow to calculate their respective coordinates.
Second Stage:
Step 1: Locate the two sets of dates.
Step 2: Arrange each of the digits as they are seen in
the dates to make one large number
(Ex. 12-11-55 and 11-10-44 = 121155111044).
Step 3: Multiply this large number by 31786
Step 4: Subtract 594808754
This final number will give you all the digits, in order, for the latitude and longitude (in DD MM.MMM format) for this second stage.
Third Stage:
Step 1: Locate the two sets of numbers.
Step 2: Arrange each of the digits as they are seen to
make one large number
(Ex. 121155 and 111044 = 121155111044).
Step 3: Multiply this large number by 308014
Step 4: Add 72910753
Again, this will give you all the digits, in order, for the latitude and longitude (in DD MM.MMM format) to locate this third and final stage.
