Geocache Description:

This is a multi-cache puzzle cache that is a paperback book exchange. Coordinates will take you to a place with information to solve the following puzzle. Cache is located about 2.5 miles from the given waypoint.

At the starting coordinates you will find information that will help you solve the following puzzles:

In what year did the person who said the following die?

"Numerical precision is the very soul of science."

Let the year = WXYZ
LATITUDE = N47 degrees, WX.YZ3 minutes

In what year was the person who said the following born?

"A place for everything and everything in its place."

Let the year = ABCD
LONGITUDE = W122 degrees, 20.(BCD-1)

These coordinates will lead you to the final cache which is an .50 ammo can.

This is a paperback book exchange, so please stick to the theme and bring a book along to trade. No McToys, please. We have started the cache with an assortment of both children's and adult books so everyone should be able to find something interesting. Travel bugs are also welcome. Light bushwacking is needed for the last 10 feet, but the rest of the trail is either asphalt or hardpacked dirt. Easiest parking is at N47 19.557 W122 20.785.

Just for your info, the gps really jumps around in the final cache area, so be patient. (edited 7/20/05)

CONGRATULATIONS! FTF goes to LandRover
