Geocache Description:

Located on a narrowing part of the headland where there are steep banks and cliffs near the cache.

CHILDREN NEED TO BE CLOSELY MONITORED.
The cache has been moved a little as the last postion has changed making it unsuitable. The new position is close to the old one but a little scrambling down the side of the ridge is necessary. I THEREFORE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU MAKE SURE THAT THE GROUND IS DRY WHEN YOU ATTEMPT THIS CACHE. The last part of the track to the cache site is clay so it is very slippery when wet. Getting to the cache itself is steep so having shoes with decent tread is recommended.
This area has historical importance as a nearby area was a Pa site. The walkway has signs indicating points of interest. It is worth doing the round trip on the walkway.
Please respect the area and remember not to remove anything from the area (trading items from the cache excepted).
The cache is a 400ml camo painted snap locked container hidden at ground level and not visble from any distance. It contains the usual log book and trading items.
Please ensure that the stone are replaced on top of the cache to ensure that the cache is disguised and is not blown away in a storm. Thanks.
