Well, each member of the team has a cache of their own now, so it
was time for a family cache. This cache is not too tough but should
give you a slight work out.
The railroad used to run between Urbana and St. Joseph right along
where US 150 now stands. The tracks are gone, but the gravel bed is
still there. It would make an awesome Rails to Trails path, but I
honestly don't know if that will be in the works or not.
The sections I looked at are all very doable with a mountain bike
but I cannot swear that you would be able to do the entire cache by
bike. I am pretty sure you could but I won't make any promises.
So head on out with your car or bike, or if you are really
ambitious, on foot and check out the first waypoint. It's a micro
and so is the second, but the third and final point will score you
a small cache with some trade goodies and a travel bug.
Have Fun!!!!!!!!!
