Geocache Description:

The Uplands is a beautiful and historic neighborhood located in Peoria, Illinois. Established over 100 years ago our neighborhood is rich with beautiful architecture and outstanding home craftsmanship.

This cache was designed to be easy to hike and easy to find, but due to the approximate mile plus walk and multi-cache aspect of it, it is rated as 2/5 for both terrain and difficulty. Except for a short hike into Bradley Park adjacent to the neighborhood, you won’t leave the pavement.
The starting point for this cache is the given coordinate above, which can also be used as the general area to park in. READ the whole informational picture below! It contains vital information relevant to this cache.For history on the neighborhood, visit http://www.uplandspeoria.com/history.html

Please keep in mind while doing this cache that you will not have to walk across anyone's yard; none of the coordinates are located in an area that would require stepping onto someone's lawn. There are parking restrictions on some streets from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. I recommend parking on Columbia Terrace, where there are no restricitons, and walking this cache.
