Geocache Description:

This mystery cache is located in Springfield Park in Mauldin. The cache is smaller than a 35mm film canister and is inside a mystery container.
[:(]Beware of thorns and poison ivy.[:(]

Hootie had taken up residence in this little park and stood gaurd over his section of the "forest." He was ever vigalent and was always ready should his assistance be needed. His land is the borderland between the ballfields and the residences of the humans. Hootie stayed around for quite awhile. He has now been forced into retirement but his service will not be forgotten!
After a long process, Hootie has been replaced by a woodsman of sorts. We can only hope that Woodsy will be as vigilant as Hootie and lend aid where needed.
We will always remember Hootie with the utmost respect!
