Geocache Description:

The parking coordinates and directions to the trail head are the same as for the “Hanging Hills Hide” by TheWilkens (GCKRCY). The trail is close to large cliffs, children should be supervised.

The SkyTrek Hubbard Park Puzzle Cache (HPPC) is simply a two part cache with an assembly challenge on the first part to get the coords to the second part. The hike is about a ½ mile each way, mostly on trail if you come from the towers, but you will have to bushwhack for the last couple hundred yards. The cliffs are steep with several hundred feet drop offs, but your only requirement is to stay on top.

If you follow the directions below, this should be an easy adventure, however, I’ve provided some distractions that may enhance your visit to this cache. Here are the keys to assembling the puzzle.

1. First find a comfortable location on top of the rocks.

2. Stand a line of PVC cylinders in front of you on the wooden block (inverted panpipe style).

3. Fill each cylinder with the black dowels so that they are exactly flush with the top and bottom of each cylinder.

4. If assembled and positioned correctly, the pins will be to the lower right of the North coord and directly above the West coord of the final cache.

Once you complete the assembly and load the coords into your GPSr, please carefully disassemble the puzzle and replace it as you found it. Good luck, SkyTrek
