I wish I had more to tell you about this truly beautiful and
historic spot. Berlin Spring was used for many years as a gathering
place for the local countryside. The cave and spring fed creek
provided a pastoral backdrop for the fiery rhetoric delivered from
"The Rock". I was astounded to see the names of some of the people
who have spoken here. Two presidents, senators, governors, judges
and congressmen, have all spoken at Berlin Spring. What could have
brought them here? I am going to keep researching and I will post
more information as I discover it, if anyone else has anything to
add, please let me know. This is a truly incredible place and I
would love to learn and tell it's story.
For the record, the monument is slightly out of date now, I have
spoken from the rock as well. There was not much of a crowd, but if
there had been I would have advised them to start low and finish
high.
