This hill is about 20 minutes from anywhere downtown. Enjoy a short, steep climb of 230 metres to a fantastic 360 degree lookout. School aged children can make this hike. The hill is home to a rare species of Lupine which can be found in May and early June.
The first location is a micro cache, (a spice bottle) very near the trail. Here you can pick up the coordinates and clue for the main cache which is a large plastic bottle. At the time of hiding the cache contained: pair of socks, Ama/Papa geocoin, wooden apple, Hallowe'en Candle, Moody Putty, 4-colour pen, tic tacs, stamp, key clip, duct tape. Sorry! No special rewards for first to find except the glory of the view.
