7-1-05 Container is new, small, and moved about 10ft South. Check the new hint.
The posted coordinates are for a random intersection that I passed after finding the location for the actual cache.
The real location is at 47 AB.CDE 117 FG.HIJ
To get the real numbers you'll have to track down some of my favorite movies. Here's what you need to do.
1) Figure out which movie each of the following quotes comes from.
2) Find the year the movie was released into theaters.
3) Use only the number in the ones place for each year and plug that into the correct spot.
For example:
W) "You can't handle the truth!" The quote comes from A Few Good Men. It was released into theaters in 1992. So you would lose all the digits except for the 2. The 2 would then replace the W in the coordinates. Get it?
Here are the quotes:
A) "You know Lloyd, just when I think you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this and totally redeem yourself!"
B) "He's a man from outer space and we're taking him to his spaceship."
"Well, can't he just beam up?"
"This is reality, Greg."
C) "And I say, 'Hey Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice."
D) "Yeah, sure Thomas can raise a barn, but can he pick up a 7-10 split?"
E) "You ain't gonna be able to hit 'em. They're too good and you suck something awful."
"Yes sir I sure do."
"Our only shot is for you to get angry!"
F) "There's no crying in baseball!"
G) "I will not rest until I have you holding a Coke, wearing your own shoe, playing a Sega game featuring you, while singing your own song in a new commercial, starring you, broadcast during the Superbowl, in a game that you are winning, and I will not sleep until that happens. I'll give you fifteen minutes to call me back."
H) "Either they don't know, don't show, or don't care about what's goin' on in da hood."
I) "Yeah, you surprised?"
"Surprised Eddie? If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet I wouldn't be more surprised than I am right now."
J) "Hey! Somebody horked our clothes!"
"Geez, who'd want to hork our clothes eh?"
"Maybe a couple of these guys got sick and tired of wearin' their pajamas eh."
There you go! The actual cache location is in a very busy area. Lots of muggles to watch what you're doing. So if the time isn't right, go rent one of the movies listed above, or play at the park directly across the street.
The container is small, but only room for a log book. Bring your own writing stick.
