Geocache Description:

CACHE OPEN APRIL 1ST to NOVEMBER 30TH This is a beautiful gorge on the South branch of The Tunkhannock Creek.

This treasure is a 26-acre property containing a spectacular sandstone gorge on the South Branch of the Tunkhannock Creek in Clinton Township, Wyoming County. Steep hemlock-clad slopes rise to either side of the gorge. It was purchased by the Countryside Conservancy in 2004. It is open to the public from April 1 thru November 30. Dawn till Dusk. Please take in this areas beauty while you visit the cache.

I do not recommend bushwacking to this cache. Follow the main road/trail down and around to the waters edge. Be careful if you enter the gorge as the rocks can be very slippery. Do not go near any ledges.
