Geocache Description:

Located off the Discovery Trail along Burnt Bridge Creek about 0.35 miles from the parking area.

You would think from the name that this ammo can is probably hidden close to the water wheel in the creek. Sorry, it isn't - but do look at the water wheel as you go by. There used to be a sign explaining the unique features of the water wheel but it has been gone recently.

The cache is behind a relatively small fallen tree next to a brush free area part way up the hill to the south of the trail about 0.35 miles from the parking area. Dirt trails lead to the area.

Avoid bushwacking. It's not necessary and the mosquitos were quite vicious when this cache was placed and the nettles are big. And need we mention black berries.

The Discovery Trail along Burnt Bridge Creek is about 1 1/4 miles each way with parking at both ends. There are four caches along the trail with the two easiest ones closer to the west end of the trail (Burnt Bridge Creek and Pleasant Discovery).

Parking at the east end is accessed from NE Alki Road off of Hazel Dell Avenue. There is a turn around just past the Discovery Trail sign and off street parking for several cars. (N45-39.702, W122-40.335)
