This cache is located off of a popular trail system in the city of Federal Way. Playground near parking area for kids. No parking fees are charged at the trailhead that is nearest to the cache.
This trail system is a favorite among mountain bikers and trail runners so keep on the lookout for muggles while hunting. The cache is placed within 2 feet of the trail so NO bushwacking is needed. Container is a 2 quart coleman water jug. Be very careful to rehide well. This cache was muggled after just 2 1/2 weeks of being placed. Have fun! If you feel like putting in some more trail time this trail connects to a fun (but busy) beach and picnicking area. Also, make sure that you stop at "The Big Tree" cache nearby.
The above coordinates have been altered slightly. When we replaced the muggled cache we moved it about 40 feet in hopes that it might last a bit longer this time.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE rehide this well! Someone who found it recently said it was lying out in the open. This is a great place for people to come cache and enjoy some time in tbe woods. I can only replace it so many times though. Thanks for helping us keep the cache safe and available for future cachers! (edited 7/25/05)
