Geocache Description:

On the summit of Goat Mountain, northwest of the Peak at Grouse Mountain

Container is a tupperware type small sealed plastic food container (clear container, blue lid) with Geocache notice, logbook, pencil, some trade items. As some moron removed the original cache, I had to replace it on Aug 20. I moved it east approx 10 m, under some rocks (see photo (to be uploaded soon)) and updated the coordinates. Either take the Skyride ($30) or hike up either the Grouse Grind or BCMC trails to the Peak. Head northwest past the grizzly bear and wolf enclosures (stop to look, but don't feed ;-) ) along the trail that leads to Hanes Valley and Crown Mountain. Turn right at N49* 23.948, W123* 04.995 (there's a sign that points to Goat Mountain) and head up to the summit, approx 20 minutes later. Aside from the climb from the parking lot to the Peak (820 m), elevation gain is only 300 m, most of which is on the last scramble up from the turn to the top of Goat Mountain. The cache is at the summit. Look southwest to see the view of English Bay and the city (see photo). If you look northwest, you'll see Crown Mountain.
