Osenego Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Boxer Crew: I hid this cache when we lived in the West Oak Trails part of Oakville. Today I came at it from the opposite direction, don't even know if this was possible when the cache was hidden but it is a lot easier.

Anyway with all the extra muggle traffic, and the fact that the original tree hiding place has disintergrated, and the fact that we no longer live in Oakville, I have decided to archive this cache. I highly recommend any Oakville cachers to consider hiding another one in this stretch of woodland as I think it is perfect.

Keep on caching

Geocache Description:

Another cache off of the Heritage Trail

HAving reached our 100th find, time to hide another one was well overdue. In the 100 finds we have been to some amazing places. Still don't know how people find them to hide caches.

This is cache is hidden of the Heritage trail systemin Oakville, same as our other cache. We did a bit more exploring this time, so the hide is a lilttle bit more of a search. It took us two attempts to submit the cache - I forgot to ercord the coordinates teh first time so had to go back and find it ourselves. Does that count as a find?

The final approach is quite steep, at least it is the way we went. The cache is a large ammo can with a number of $ store goodies, and some better swag that we have been carrying around but can't find caches big enough for.

According to my GPSr the creek next to the cache is called Osenego Creek - hence the name.

Happy hunting
