Geocache Description:

In honor of Flag Day, the Fourth of July and support of our troops I am placing this cache. The first stage is a magnet and the second is the cache. (Walking distance between the two.)

The above coordinates are not the starting location but rather a cemetery in Woburn. For this cache you do not need to go there, but if you do you will see a lot of flags as well.

To find this cache you will need to know three things:
  • When is Flag Day – Day and month
  • When is the Fourth of July
  • Where is the bridge in Woburn with all the flags flying on it

There is a bridge in Woburn that has many, many flags displayed on it. You can see the bridge while doing 55 mph, but don’t stop there. Take the city streets and find a side street nearby. Keep your feet on the sidewalk and head to the center of the bridge and find the magnet. (Last two digits of N is 83, of W is 33) On the magnet you will find the decimal portion of the north and west coordinates of the cache.

The container which is a 2 quart pitcher, holds all stuff that is American Flag related. Please try to swap stuff that has a flag on it.

Words of warning, keep your feet on the ground at all times, no climbing needed. Don’t hop any fences or walls. When done with the cache put the cache back as you found it.

NEARBY BENCHMARK: Once you know were the bridge is, you should do a search on nearby benchmarks for there is one on one end of the bridge that is quite easy to find. The number of flags vary from week to week but there is usally at least a few. Other clues on this page will also direct you.

God Bless,

Loch Cache & Loch Cache 4

The key holder with the key inside is not part of this cache, it is just road debris.
