Geocache Description:

Located on public State Park Lands off of Gwinnup Road.

I named this cache "Bald Eagle Sighting" because as I came around a bush near the river, there was a gorgeous mature Bald Eagle on a branch about 30' from me. He must have been watching for a fish. Unfortunately I startled him as much as he surprised me and he was gone, flying upstream, before I could even think about getting my camera out.

Park in the field off of Gwinnup Road but please don't block the entrance to the field. It is a nice walk across the large field to the cache. Be aware that this cache may be difficult to access during the rainy season unless you have waders! The cache shoud be safe in case of floods but be sure you put the lid on snug just in case. Please be careful of thorns, poison ivy, slippery rocks, etc.

There is a nice First To Find (FTF) prize enclosed with many other fun prizes to trade for. Please sign the log. Rehide it as you found it and check from all sides that it is not visible, thanks!
