Hidden Lake Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been unavailable for some time due tho the bushfires we had a while ago. But it's back now and still a lovely spot for a picnic.
The cache is at the end of a dirt road off a main local highway. You can drive right up to the area where it's hidden. It's a quiet out of the way lake that is full of bird life and simply a pleasant place for a picnic lunch. Some very thoughtful people have even built a rotunda to sit in.

The cache is in a clear plastic lunchbox about 400 x 300mm. There's nothing in it to swap. It contains a logbook and a request. You'll need to take a sharp pair of scissors with you if you decide to participate (that's all a bit cryptic isn't it?).

I've found cache hunting to be a bit disappointing when I can't find the cache, so I tend to make mine fairly easy. To make it easier I've tied a green ribbon around the fallen tree that it's under.

In case you need any more help here's the coordinates of the turn off. S 38 19.276 E 146 15.586.
