As a kid, I would climb through these mountain mazes. Hey, there wasn’t much to do in Yuma. There are hundreds of trails leading in every which direction and it is easy to get lost. If you make a wrong turn who knows where you will windup. So here are some coordinates to get you started and back in one piece…320 54.218 N 1140 28.501W. The cache is a 30. Cal ammo can painted to blend. Climbing ropes might be needed, as the rocks are loose and unstable. I cannot overemphasize enough that safety is a must for this cache.
The mountain peak has a beautiful view of the river. From this point you can see Imperial Dam to the South and Senator Lake to the North. The lake below is a good place to fish, swim, and water-ski.
This is a desert area and all the normal precautions apply. The area is quite rocky with lots of loose rocks. Be careful where you step, the path is narrow in places. Do not fall, it is a long way down.
