Note: The puzzle in this cache is obsolete. The White Buffalo is extinct. Each brown buffalo cache now stands on its own.
This is an ammo box hidden in the Choctaw Lake area.
For access to all of the brown buffalo caches, you will need to pick up a daily use permit (3 bucks).
Most are in DENSE tree cover. GPS accuracy WILL be a factor. I'm asking that you please make a note of the coordinates your GPS has when you find the cache. This will help me tremendously in improving the accuracy for future finders. All caches are in fairly typical hiding spots. Bring LOTS of water In warmer weather, you WILL encounter ticks! Also, although I didn't see a single one while placing the caches, I'm sure there are plenty of snakes in the area.
Each brown buffalo cache in the series has either one or two brown buffaloes for the first finders. I kindly ask that you take only ONE brown buffalo, regardless of how many you encounter altogether. This will allow more finders to have one. If I can find another source for the buffaloes, I will replenish them from time to time.
