Quick as a Flash Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The_Tinkerater: Visted last night and it's definitely floated away in the floods.

As the area is a bit of a mess at the moment, I've decided to archive this one.

Thanks to everyone who visited.

Cheers, StrongGale

Geocache Description:

A quick Cache-and-Dash set at a local nature reserve on the fringes of Rotherham.

This can be done as a "Cache-and-Dash", parking in the layby at N53 23.259 W1 21.575, or for the more adventurous, walking through the nearby village on the way to or from Yorkiepudding's "Hail Mary Woods" (GCP3F5) and "TreetonWoods" (GCP000).

The flash was established as a nature reserve in 1978 and has a wide variety of feathered visitors, including herons, Great Crested and Little Grebes and plenty of ducks and swans.

The cache is a small vitamin container and contains a log book and two small pencils. As the cache is so small, please do not attempt to put any extra items inside.

There should be no need to get wet nor to have to walk into or cross the road.

If you are taking younger children along, PLEASE do keep them close to you as this is a busy road with many speeding vehicles.

The clue and spoiler pics will point you at the cache if you need them.

Don't forget the bread for the birds!

More information about the reserve can be found at (visit link)

Enjoy! StrongGale
