Grandpaw Bird Dog placed this cache on his final day in Alaska until next summer. Cache is a standard ammo can and is camoflauged using terrain and foliage. 3 separate waypoints were taken as the satellite coverage fades in and out due to foliage. Final cache waypoint is the triangulation of the three separate readings.
This cache does require a walk from either the base of Moose Creek Bluff (less than a mile), the entrance parking lot to the Chena Lakes Recreation (about a mile), or the parking lot just prior to the entrance gate to the Chena Lakes Park (about 2 miles). You do not need to enter Chena Lakes to access this cache.
