This is the first cache I have placed. I see it as a right of passage.
Anyway, your looking for a well camouflaged cache tucked away in the Waldron Arboretum. I have stuffed this cache with a few goodies, including a “First To Find” prize in the note pad. Enjoy!
Parking is only about 600ft. from the cache, located at N 41º 05.599 W 87º 49.454.
The Waldron Arboretum is a fairly new trail, but few know it exists. Not only does the arboretum have a very nice walking path, it also is filled with all different species of trees that are indigenous to Illinois. Please help keep this area a nice place to visit by practicing good Geocaching etiquette and “Cache in - Trash out”.
The trails are open:
6am-5:00pm Oct.-Mar.
6am-8:30pm Apr.-Sept.
