The coordinates will not take you to the cache, only to the general vicinity. Your destination is a former Rush County School sadly remembered here on a site with two ugly steel buildings and playground equipment that might give a safety inspector fits. Despite any temptation to do so, you will NOT need to traverse ANY private property to find the cache. The exact coordinates can be revealed below.
Thomas Jefferson may have never made it through here, but it's likely that he and William Jennings Bryan would have found common ground. That's because nephew Floyd Bryan was the kind of farmer who could mend fences among political foes. He and his wife, the former Hannah Brown, would have called on Hoosier citizens living along the busy Wabash River to gather not far from here. Their son Allen carried on the family tradition by organizing a meeting with abolitionist Abner Tipton. Along with nationally known speaker Cass Benton, the faithful in this county who opposed slavery were united in their defiance.
(Unless of course, this is entirely a work of historical fiction.)
Important note: The posted coordinates are more than a mile north of the cache. If you drive to the vicinity of them, you'll need to go around the block counter-clockwise to get to the site. (Of course here in the country, a block IS rather large.) Happy hunting!
