The third cache set for the Solent Way Series on the Southampton to Hamble leg. This is another micro, owing to the location and has easy access. Once again, bring your own pencil
This is in a millenium garden. It's quite spectacular, not just a prunus in a patch of grass as you will see and the juxtaposition of the modern and affluent appearance of the garden and the less affluent surrounds emphasises the courage the planners had for making what is quite a bold statement.
It never occurred to me that people would climb up onto the blue stones. There is no need.
The area seems to have a big building project going on on the next stage of the Solent Way, so the views become limited. Be assured though, they open up fantastically after you pass the building work.
