A Series of Unfortunate Caches
Kilroy Boy placed this easy to find hide as an homage to
Lemony Snicket. The container is a camo'd plastic jar, 1 quart,
hidden inside the grotto. It is filled with toys, a logbook and
stashnote. Please replace it carefully to prevent unintentional
discovery by muggles.
Conditions at the cache location can change dramatically,
depending on the seasons, so you may want to bring a stick or
gloves, and a flashlight if searching at dusk or
thereafter.
Dear Geocacher,
Unless you are a slug, a sea anemone, or mildew, you probably
prefer not to be damp. You might also prefer not to find this
cache, in order which to hide, the Baudelaire siblings encountered
an unpleasant amount of dampness as they descended into the depths
of despair.
In fact, the horrors they encountered are too numerous to list, and
you wouldn't want me even to mention the worst of it, which
includes mushrooms, a desperate search for something lost, a
mechanical monster, a distressing message from a lost friend, and
tap dancing.
As a dedicated cacher who has pledged to create an homage recording
the depressing story of the Baudelaires, we must continue to delve
deep into the cavernous depths of the orphans' lives. You, on the
other hand, may delve into some happier cache in order to keep your
eyes and your spirits from being dampened.
With all due respect,
Kilroy Boy
