Parking and Trailhead off Archie Moore Rd at N33 00.800 W116 57.200. For a little short cut, park on the 67 about 400 feet north of Archie Moore Rd, at the end of the guard rail; you'll see a short trail connecting to the main trail.
A .9 mile hike, each way, on the Fry-Koegel Trail.
The container is but 10 feet SW of the trail (to your left as you hike towards Mt. Woodson).
There may be bushwhacking involved depending on the season. There are lots of three-stem plants at GZ resembling poison oak, but I did not see any of the real stuff; however, take the necessary precautions just in case.
As of June 2005, there is overgrowth around the half mile mark, but shorts should be OK; use a stick to break up the spider webs.
