Geocache Description:

Most locals will know of this place but it isn't on tourist maps. It will be about a 15 minute drive up the mountain, but the road is paved. The trail to "Balancing Rock" is very well marked. You will have no trouble seeing why the name is so suited for this cache.

Once you find the rock you will have to take out your compass and do some fairly easy readings. Stand at the east side of the rock and walk 30 paces on a bearing of 234 degrees mag. north. Turn and walk 50 paces on a bearing of 154 degrees mag.north. This should put you with in 15 feet of the cache. The cache is a small round Ziplock container. Remember to bring your camera.
