This might be one of the best marked caches in the world, as is it placed at "Færder Fyr", one of the brightest lighthouses in the world. Despite the need of boat this is an easy cache.

| "Færder Fyr" (Færder Lighthouse) is produced in cast iron at "Bærums Verk" (see "Iron Maid") around 1855. It is 43 meter high and one of the brightest lighthouses in the world.
 "Færder Fyr" has replaced two earlier lighthouses, "Vippefyret at Verdens ende" and "The old Lighthouse at Store Færder". Both are still visible from sea, vippefyret as a fully rebuild model, and "Store Færder" as a rebuild skeleton.
In summer the tower is often open for visitors. You should bring some binoculars as the view on a clear day is thrilling. Inside the tower you may read about the history of the lighthouse.
As it marks the lead into the "Oslo Fjord" the Lighthouse was fortified during the war. You will see traces of this during your visit.
