boasark: Looks like the CCCB has sold this property and it is now private property. Was not able to retrieve the cache, but am going to archive it. Don't want anyone to get into trouble being where they should not be. This was such a good place for a cache too!

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Redfern Timber.

12/6/14 - cache replaced with a micro and coordinates updated.

The cache is only about 100' from the parking lot. There are so many trails in here that I couldn't find a good place to hide the ammo can. We like these short hikes anyway don't we.

Looks like this one was muggled, so replacing with a medium sized Lock & Lock. Will see if it will stay here. Also updating coordinates a little.

FTF prize is a Sacajawea dollar.

Take the main trail a ways and you will come to an observation tower that overlooks a lake.

The park is closed from sunset to sunrise.
