- Have you been stuck in a hole for two months?
- Have you logged over ten thousand miles this week and are in need of a rest?
- Have you been stuck under 15 feet of snow all winter?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to spend some time at The Travel Bug Vacation Home on Beautiful Anderson Island. What better way to spend a vacation than on a tranquil island in the Pacific Northwest? We opened our doors in July of 2005 to any tired travel bugs in need of a good island getaway for a while.
While you're here enjoy three square meals a day (or less), regulation size tennis courts (which you need to be regulation size to play at, sorry) and your shared room will include almost two cubic feet of space!
All of this can be yours for the insanely low price of only $99 a night (or a photograph of yourself on vacation uploaded to the geocaching website, whichever is less)
We were written up in the travel book "Best Places to Lie Still and Get Covered with Twigs".
Here are some of the other many positive reviews (Please feel free to write your own):
"Wow! I couldn't wait to try out the mud puddle out back." - Artificial People Magazine
"I'm used to being surrounded by metal walls. It was a real pleasure to be stuck in a plastic container for a while." - Under Stone Magazine
"I cried for three nights straight." - Irrelevant Reviews Magazine
Please note: A lot of TB relationships have blossomed at the Travel Bug Vacation Home but only when there are over three guests staying there at a time. So please make sure you don't take a Travel Bug unless there are at least three left inside. And of course, the bigger the party, the better!
Also, since we are a clothing-optional Travel Bug resort, please make sure you are discreet when you are being dropped off by your limo driver as we don't want the paparazzi to know where we are located. Thank you and enjoy your stay.
