Geocache Description:

An easy cache in a small park with one (or maybe I should say three) big points of interest. This cache is dedicated to Frank, the Elephant Man.

Read about Frank

How many of you knew that a man by the name of Frank Garrison is the small town of Odessa's claim to fame? Frank, who lives in Odessa, was one of the contestants on Survivor: Africa. Yes, I used to watch Survivor and I'm ashamed of it... But that's a different story. Anyway, in one episode Frank spotted some elephants and began imitating them (attempting to get their attention) in what had to be one of the funniest displays I've ever seen. He kind of pushed his shoulder over so it was hanging below his face, like a trunk, and let his arm go limp. Next he hunched down and started walking around with his arm swinging around. I wish I could find a picture of it, because it was just too funny looking for words!

To make this an extra fun cache hunt and to lower the amount of bushwacking, follow these steps.

1. Walk along the soccer field until you come to one of the big pipes. You'll know it when you see it.

2. Go through two of them (they form something like a tunnel) and you'll be real close to the cache. Simple as that! The ground may be a bit wet around the cache. BYOP
