Geocache Description:

This cache is located near an out of the way Virginia Beach Fire Department. You guessed it, Station 13. There is a park for children and a ballfield. However, the park and fire station share a parking lot so be courteous.

The cache itself is a large, camoflauged ammo can. Hidden, snuggled in the underbrush of the area directly behind the park.

The fire station, which we learned when asking for permission to place the cache, is obviously, a rural station house where the older fire fighters spend thier last few years prior to retirement. They have fought the good fight in the big city and have chosen to spend thier twilight years in the much quieter outskirts of Virginia Beach.

** A WARNING TO ALL WHO CACHE THIS AREA **

It has been said, that there have been Black Bear sightings in this area of Virginia Beach. In April of this year the bear was sighted in the ball field in front of the fire department parking lot. Although it is reported that the bear is friendly and seems to not be bothered by people, it should go without saying, but I will say it anyway, BEARS ARE WILD ANIMALS!

I would highly recommend AGAINST caching this one at night!
