A 2 stage hide, at the first WP (filmcan) you will be given
final coordinates. While designed to be found from the pay
trailhead area, the cache can just as easily be found from the
non-pay trailhead area; I shall provide information for free
parking so you can hike in without a pass.
The final is located about 120 feet off trail through thin
cover. This cache may not be easily available with more than a few
inches of snow. Please return the "blood stone marked with an X" to
its upright position so that others may find it as intended.
The Library recently went through a house cleaning and discarded
numerous volumes of mostly dank and musty books. Being something of
a junk magnet, I took several of these volumes home and found
something unusual in a book called fence-posts. I found a
sketch of what appears to be a dragon along with something of a
note. I think the note may provide clues to find a treasure. There
have long been tales of a treasure in these parts but until now I
considered these tales to be urban legends.
As I have been thus far unsuccessful in finding this supposed
"treasure," I have decided to ask for help. Let's face it if there
is something hidden out there a Geocacher surely can find it.
Good Luck.
