Gravel road to within .5 mile of cache, 4730 ft. great views of Andrews and Robinsville NC and Smoky Mtns. Park
This cache is located at Joanna Bald, elevation 4730 ft., the cords above will take you to the bald, there you will need to find a reference mark stamped Joanna RM 1 1977, it is not on the building, there is also a tree near it that has a reference tag on it also, look for a micro that will give you cords to the final cache. The micro is close by the benchmark, very, very close it is not that small but it is well hidden. The final is within 200 ft of the micro. You will not be able to drive all the way to the top but will need to park about .5 mile away near the gate, it's an easy grade to the top. You will have fantastic views of Andrews and Robbinsville and The Smoky Mountains, the day I placed this cache it was near perfect temps but hazy so the view was not as good as it can be.
