Geocache Description:

Moved Cache 50ft 10/5/06

The cache is in a great area of Keene’s Bike Path along the
Ashuelot River in a section of woods that is part of Wheelock Park.
It is a small Ammo Box starting with a logbook and a bunch of small
caching goodies as well as a new TB tag for the First To Find.

There are three ways in which to approach the cache:

N42 55.994 W7217.340 Park at Star Bucks or Blockbuster and begin biking or walking north on the Ashuelot River Path. This is the longest trip at 1.25 miles but is very flat and also has the most beautiful scenery along the river. Ashuelot River Park website: (visit link)

N42 56.467 W72 17.978 Park at Wheelock Park which is a walk or ride of 7/10 of a mile with just a bit less scenery and a small hill with a tunnel. Equally fun. We also today placed a micro cache here we're calling "Great Playground Micro-Cache"

N42 57.014 W72 17.552 Park at the Hospital and walk south on Court Street to the bike path entrance at N42 56.759 W72 17.266 then follow the bike path. This hike or bike is also 1 mile but 1/3 of it is a busy street so not as tranquil.

Once you find the box you’ll be off the beaten path and could find yourself wanting to head farther north on this great hidden path,have fun!!
