Meet for an evening of fun and conversation...geo-style! We'll meet downstairs at Philthy McNasties on Upper James in Hamilton around 7:00 on August 6th...exactly one year ago I got my 100th find!
Okay, so mostly it's about eating, drinking and showing off new toys, but I'm gonna add a little adventure to the night.
I will be hiding a number of jigsaw puzzle pieces in the Hamilton area. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to collect a puzzle piece sometime on August 6th. Later that evening, all the pieces will be assembled with coordinates on the back to reveal the location of a cache container. Once assembled, it's up to you to decide if you want to go for it or not.
As usual, please post whether you can make it or not. I have to let the restaurant know how many to expect!

UPDATE!
JIGSAW CACHE: There are twelve camouflaged snack baggies hidden in and around Hamilton each containing two pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. In order to retrieve a baggie, you will have to first find a hidden micro cache that contains twelve sets of coordinates inside. Choose ONE set of coordinates per caching group (ie...if you came together, you get ONE set of coordinates...doesn't matter if you came in two or three cars, if you're caching together for the day...it's one set! Please allow others a chance to play.) Sign the logsheet inside the micro, and please include which set of coordinates you took (they will be labelled A,B,C etc)If there are no slips left, simply sign the logsheet and you can still help assemble the puzzle and go for the final later.
I will pick up the micro container around 5:00 and will bring it to Philthy's later. After the micro has been picked up, if there are any coordinates left in it, anyone who wants to go get a second or third set of puzzle pieces are welcome to them. Pick them up at Philthy's or catch me on the road! Somebody must have my cell number...
Once all the pieces are assembled, if you flip the puzzle over, coordinates to a final cache are revealed. There will be a FTF prize that can be collected at the event to the person who brings me the DEALER poker chip that is inside the final. I guess whoever opens the container first is entitled to the chip.
Coordinates to the micro cache (Annie convinced me to put it out earlier!)

Hope you enjoy the game.
