Here are directions for the event--be sure to come this way
cause I have set up a special gate code for you. If you come to any
other entrance, I can't be sure you'll get in!
Go North on 281 ( or Austin people, go south). Just before you
get to the Guadalupe River, if you're heading north, there is a
street calling Rolling Creek. Turn left there.
Follow Rolling Creek to a T intersection. At the T intersection (
Firethorn Path), turn right.
Keep going straight, even though you will see a sign that says
Dead End.
When you get to the big gate, Press the KEY picture TWICE, then
0070.
So it's Key-Key-0-0-7-0.
Continue straight and follow your gps to the park.
This is a celebration that I want to share with all my
geocaching friends. Three important milestones are occurring around
this time--I will turn 55! I will be moved in to my new house! And
I will be celebrating my 2181st cache!
We will be having a barbeque in the park located in the
subdivision where my new house is located.
There is a playground for kids, good biking in the area, and
tubing about a mile away.
For the smiley hungry set, you will be guaranteed at least 21
smileys if you attend!
(More if you haven't done any caches on the way here!) More info as
the date approaches.
This will be a day-long event. I will probably start setting things
out around 10AM.
There will be at least 20 caches hidden all over the park so that
you can log in to the event 20 extra times ( one for each temp.
cache).
I will be supplying all the meat. The following is a list of stuff

Volunteer chef
Hamburger buns, mayo, mustard
Fixin's for hamburgers
Also bring your own drinks/beer. There is no running water in the
park except for the waterfall.
There is a portapotty, but for those who just can't handle that,
you can go to my house.
No gifts, please. The only presents I want is your presence!
If it rains, we will adjourn to my house, where you may have
nothing more than a milk crate to sit on.>
OK, I have all the temporary caches hidden, so if you would like
to load them in your GPSr ahead of time, here are the names and
coordinates. There are also a GPX file and a MapSource version 6
file (Thanks, Moosiegirl!) that you can download if you know what
to do with them.
