Geocache Description:

Ashes to ashes… dust to dust… This area in summer certainly has plenty of dust… but visit this spot in spring and see the awesome floral display. Worth a visit even if not geocaching! Cemetery opened 1878 and closed in 1973... although several plots were already purchaced and therefore burials have happened after that.

Be careful how you come into this one… there is a gate you can walk through so don’t bush bash as there is endangered plant life in the area (this is signposted). This awesome site is not signposted but can be visited by tourists, so please take care and enjoy such an amazing place where pioneers of the area have been laid to rest! On the back of the log book are half the coordinates to the Brentwood”a” Triangle Complete geocache! So why not complete all three in the set!
