TIME: Beginning around 4 PM (but come anytime during the evening)
LOCATION: Magna's Copper Park - shaded pavillian
What can I say, I'm still not used to the whole Utah birthday celebration being larger than Independence day, but hey - any excuse for a get-together, right?
Bring a dish, I'm providing drinks. I'll also have a tabletop grill so your hotdogs & hamburgers are welcome. We've got the pavillian from 4 PM until 8PM (can stay later if we want) it's nice and shaded as is the playground next to it. Yes, dogs are allowed in the park although they do need to be leashed, and you may want to bring a water bowl and something to clean up after them.
Activities will consist mostly of eating, conversation, Trading Travel bugs and/or signature items.
If you can come, here's what you should bring:
Your own meat (or whatever) to throw on a tabletop grill. (I've only got one, so if someone else wants to bring one it'd be most welcome to speed things up.)
A pot-luck dish (if you know what you'd like to bring please indicate here)
Your appetite
Any travel bugs or signature (geocoins/buttons/etc) items to trade
