Geocache Description:

OR – Whatever happened to ammo cans under sticks or in stumps? This is my payback/thank-you for all of those wonderful caches where you could see where it was as you approached the given coordinates.

Because I want you to check out the signage nearby, I turned this into a very easy multi-cache. Just one waypoint to figure out the coordinates for the final hide.

FYI: In case you are wondering, the vine that you see throughout the area with large leaves and round or oval fruit the size of golf balls or larger is called Man Root. Some friends and I dug one up at a construction site a few years ago and found a root at least 8’ long and about 2.5’ in diameter. It’s easy to see where the name comes from.

OK – The above coordinates should take you to the middle of a bridge. There are a total of three signs to check out – 1 on each end of the bridge and 1 to the west along the pathway. I am numbering them as follows:

#1 – the sign on the east side of the bridge
#2 – the sign on the west side of the bridge
#3 – the sign west of the bridge, along the pathway

Different approaches will start you at different signs. The information needed is simple enough that you could figure it out even if the signs weren’t numbered. Yes, you can approach from four different directions depending on where you park.

I started the cache with a number of high quality items and wonder how long we can keep it that way for all future finders.
