Geocache Description:

A short multi-cache that teaches a bit of history.

This cache is located near the Frontier Culture Museum -- you DO NOT have to pay admission to find this cache. BEWARE -- the posted hours of the outer gates of the access road are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On occasion the gates may be open in the evening.

At the coordinates you will find out about John Barger, his family, and his home. On what date did he file for bankruptcy? Record the date in this format MM/DD/YYYY

A B / C D / E F G H

Using that information, proceed to the cache at

N 38 07.B(F/2)H
W 079 02.H(D-4)G

Near the cache you will pass "eights" and a Monkey Cigar tree (Catalpa tree). If the season is right you can feast on abundant black raspberries (beware of the thorns) in the area.

The original contents of the cache are a log and pen, an eyeglasses repair kit, beaded necklace, a foot shaped noisemaker, a Bermuda coin, a geocaching "signal" toy and a White Jeep Travel Bug.
