On the outer boundary of an abandoned cemetery. Cache is a decon containing a log. There is room for small items and travel bugs.
The cache is located on the edge of a small abandoned cemetery in the town of Cazenovia. Few people know of its existence. The town highway crew comes and mows every few years. Make sure to look for the grave sites of Capt. Jesse Cook and Pvt. Serad Cook, revolutionary soldiers.
Capt. Cook:
Jesse Cook, served as Lieutenant and Captain in the CT line. He was taken prisoner at Fort Washington, 1776, and not exchanged for nearly four years. He was born 1739 in Northbury, CT
Serad Cook:
Serad Cook (1762-1842) enlisted at Torrington, CT, as a Private in Captain Beebe's Company, Colonel Hooker's Regiment.
