This cache is a standard ammo box hidden close to Penn Common.
As you search for this cache, you may feel as if you are being watched by many tall structures with enormous power...
The starting point is the car park opposite St Bart's church at N 52° 33.324 W 002° 09.463. Take a moment to enjoy the view from here over Penn Common and beyond - on a clear day you can even see the Malverns. Down and to the left is a footpath to take you towards the Common. You will need to follow a few footpaths and bridleways which can get VERY muddy after wet weather. This geocache has claimed at least one shoe. (sorry, Dudley Boy!) Wellies, or a devil-may-care attitude, are recommended! Alternative access points are the Common itself, a lane off Vicarage Road opposite Penn Hall School, or a footpath further along Vicarage Road, just before you get to Penn Cemetery. Please make sure you follow the marked paths at all times - there is no need to go "cross-country". Watch out for traffic on Vicarage Road, and flying golf balls if you are on the Common!
The cache that got me started: "The Lord Chamberlain" by The WV Three (GCNJ5B) is nearby and definitely worth a visit.
