Geocache Description:

In memory of a friend I only got to know a short while.



Mr. and Mrs Nolenator decided to foster a sweet dog from Pasado's Safe Haven named Jake. He was found abandoned in Black Diamond. He was deaf and had inoperable cancer. The vetenarian said he should have from several months to a year to live. Sad to say after only three weeks he couldn't fight the cancer any more. This cache was placed in the park that we last visited together. It was a sunny day and we all had fun rolling in the grass. The cache is located near one of the lesser used trail. Satellite signal can be a bit of a challenge so take a look at the spoiler. If you can hear the creek you are close, but don't try to get there directly from the trail that runs along the creek. We are lucky to have nice folks to take us in to there homes and treat us so nicely. On the cover of the log book is a picture of our friend. Woof, Baxter
