This is part of our "Magical Mystery Tour" series.
Like them or not, The Beatles made a huge impact on music, and
on many other aspects of our culture. As it turns out, they also
seem to have anticipated the advent of geocaching! Geocaching
references are hidden in the titles and lyrics of a lot of their
songs. This (soon to be) large and varied series of caches is
based on the titles and lyrics of many Beatles songs. I hope
you enjoy them!
This particular cache is based on the the lyrics of a song
called "Fool on the Hill". This is a Lennon/McCartney song from the
"Magical Mystery Tour" album. Here is the geocaching reference in
this song:
But nobody ever hears
him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down...
The coordinates are for stage 1, from which you can get a great
view of the sun going down. The coordinates for stage 2 are hidden
here in a micro container. Stage 2 is a short walk to another
container where you can trade small items and get the coordinates
for the final stage. The final stage is a container similar
to the one at stage 1. It only contains a log sheet and a
pencil.
Happy touring!
