The little blue church was built in 1889 on the site of an ancient
Hawaiian heiau. It is is located right on the ocean and surrounded
by colorful floral bushes. There are only a dozen pews and a pulpet
with a beautiful etched glass window. This cache was placed by us
during our recent trip to Hawaii. It is a tribute to our Nani and
Papa who were to renew their vows at this church for the 50th
anniversary this year. Unfortunately, Papa passed away August 2003.
This cache was created by our family with our love for them.
Contents of the original cache include:
Logbook
Pen
Hawaiian Shirt Sticky Notes (Papa's favorite kind of shirts)
Mini Tabasco Sauce (Papa loved to cook)
Hawaii Golf Ball & Golf Tee (For Papa's love of golf)
Ceramic Turtle (Nani's favorite animal)
Angel in my Pocket Coin (To watch over you)
Petroglyph Key Ring (Represents Family)
Nani & Papa TB
Please be careful when searching - lots of muggles in the area.
Also, please cover well!! Thank you!
Small note on cache maintenance: We have
relatives that live in the area of the cache who will be
maintaining it for us. My husband also visits regularly for
business as well.
