Parking on the street here is legal as long as you don't block access to the path.
Follow the multi-use trail a short way in, and then head into the field at any point that looks easy. This cache is much easier to get to when the field isn't grown high, like Winter and Spring. In Summer, use bug spray and watch out for mosquitoes, bees, ticks, thorns, tall grass, etc. You are looking for a clear container with a DuPage County Forest Preserve approval sticker on it, filled with the usual goodies. Be on the lookout for deer, coyotes, hawks, owls, and all usual forest critters.
Please hide it well, and report any damage or problems.
The DuPage County Forest Preserve rules and regulations require that the following is posted for legality issues.
1. This Geocache is placed on DuPage County Forest Preserve property with permission.
2. Do not place the following items in the Geocache: Food items, inappropriate, offensive, or hazardous materials.
3. DuPage County Forest Preserve hours are 1 hour after sunrise until 1 hour after sunset. Preserve users must not be in the preserves after hours.
4. It is the visitor's responsibility to be aware of the policies and rules pertaining to this preserve. For more information on preserve rules, see the information kiosk in the parking lot of the preserve or contact Visitor Services at (630) 933-7248.
5. All Statutes, Ordinances, rules and regulations pertaining to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County are applicable.
